In this pivotal position, you'll lead the charge in promoting health and safety best practices across the organisation while ensuring adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement, underpinning the success of diverse projects. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust systems for health, safety, and quality management. Drive compliance with all relevant policies, legislation, and guidance. Collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategies that enhance performance and foster behavioural change. Deliver engaging in-house training sessions and toolbox talks. Provide expert advice to project teams on CDM requirements and Construction Phase Plans. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring successful outcomes and compliance with accreditations such as ISO 9001. Liaise with clients and subcontractors, championing health and safety excellence. Conduct site inspections, document audits, and subcontractor reviews to uphold standards. Analyse trends from incident statistics and design proactive improvement plans. Support new team members with induction training and system orientation. What We Offer:

Competitive Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum. Benefits Package:

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

NEBOSH certification. Proven experience in health, safety, and quality management, ideally within engineering or construction. A full, clean driving licence. Strong IT and analytical skills.

Desirable:

Familiarity with NERS standards.
