The successful candidate will be offered adequate training and support to fulfil their role. Responsibilities Oversee subcontractor pre-qualifications management system and be a point of contact for internal contract managers and sub-contractors Assist with accident and incident reporting both internal and external as well as monthly reporting Oversee the selection of adequate PPE and ensure that employees receive it Assist in the co-ordination and minuting of the Health & Safety meetings Produce, co-ordinate and proactively maintain H&S planner to ensure routine tasks are completed within required timescales Support the H&S Manager to ensure all new starter H&S inductions are completed Oversight of Calibration and maintenance and equipment registers Booking and keeping track of PAT testing records to ensure that this is planned in with relevant contract managers Aiding in delivering a clear dashboard view of status and risk across the portfolio by maintaining a suite of central tracking documents including: - Compliance tracker - Fire safety tracker - Site Inspection/Audit checklist - Training tracker - Accident, incident & near miss tracker Training Book all H&S training courses Ensure managers are aware of any accreditation expiry dates Centrally track training compliance across the portfolio Maintaining Data Familiarity with analytical and database tools An ability to work under tight deadlines Skills, Experience and Qualifications Previous experience within an administrative role Experience of working in a fast-paced, confidential environment Good communication skills both verbal and written Attention to detail and accuracy The ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Desirable IOSH qualification Nebosh qualification Our Commitment to Equal Opportunities You don’t need to tick all the boxes!
