Key Responsibilities : Develop, monitor, and update SSOW for Estates staff and contractors. Ensure compliance with CDM15 and related safety policies. Oversee contractor safety management and training programs. Act as a key advisor on health and safety matters within the department.
The Successful Applicant We are seeking applications from individuals with a proven background in health & safety who can demonstrate a capability of taking ownership of a programme of works relating to health & safety and successfully driving it forward and implementing change.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate: In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation. Extensive experience in CDM and contractor management. Strong communication skills and experience in policy implementation. Relevant qualifications (e.g., HND or NEBOSH Diploma).
The role is based in Nottingham and will operate on a hybrid basis, which will require a site presence in Nottingham for 3 days a week.
What's on Offer A salary of £45,000 - £60,000 is on offer depending on experience and performance at interview.
