Health & Safety Consultant Location: Home-based, covering Oxford to Birmingham Salary: depending on relevant experience circa £40k-£60k This is a full-time, permanent position requiring travel across the South of England, with occasional overnight stays. Remarkable Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to join their dynamic Risk Management team. This is a client-facing role focused on providing high-quality consultancy services across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver health and safety consultancy services within an agreed scope and timeline for each client. Produce and review essential documents such as risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, and policies. Conduct site audits, inspections, and accident investigations, assisting with legal defence preparation if necessary. Apply knowledge of RIDDOR and manage online health and safety management systems (e.g., xCenta). Provide technical support to clients and colleagues. Represent the company and its clients during interactions with enforcing authorities and insurance companies. Conduct specialised assessments (noise, hand-arm vibration, safe air testing) — training will be provided where necessary. Experience and Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum), with a willingness to work towards Level 6 NVQ Diploma (or equivalent). Proven record of CPD and in-depth understanding of current health and safety legislation. Strong report-writing and organisational skills, with attention to detail. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own car (car allowance provided). Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

DSEAR compliance knowledge. Fire Risk Assessment (Level 3). Noise and hand-arm vibration assessments. Benefits:
