SHE Advisor Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000 per annum £5,000 car allowance Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Flexible start and finish times) About the Role Carbon60 is recruiting an experienced SHE Advisor to join our client’s Sustainable Drainage Systems team based in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company committed to delivering the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices across their projects. The role offers a hybrid working model with occasional work-from-home options, though travel to sites will be required. Key Responsibilities As the SHE Advisor, you will be at the forefront of promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring SHE compliance, and leading by example for both employees and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Championing SHE best practices across the business and maintaining full compliance with legal requirements. Working closely with operational teams to support their SHE responsibilities and goals. Providing prompt and effective SHE support and guidance to the business unit. Assisting in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW). Supporting operational teams with the preparation and review of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS). About You This role would be ideal for an experienced SHE Advisor with a background in underground services. The ideal candidate will have: A NEBOSH Certificate (preferably in Construction) or equivalent qualification. Membership of a relevant professional body, such as Tech IOSH or above. Proven experience working in a SHE advisory capacity. Experience working on underground services Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
