We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Specialist to join our team. This role involves identifying and mitigating site risks, enhancing working conditions, ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards, and promoting environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies while fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Commutable from:

Lichfield, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Shenstone, Cannock, Appleby Magna, Minworth, Uttoxeter, Twycross, Atherstone and Aldridge. Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety and sustainability. Propose an annual HSE action plan for site management. Provide guidance and training to site management and employees to ensure compliance and promote a safety-first culture. Actively participate in HSE network to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and manage relations with local authorities and organizations. Oversee the reporting and analysis of HSE indicators (e.g., FR0t, environmental data) to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Organize and conduct HSE audits and training sessions to maintain high safety and environmental standards. Investigate accidents thoroughly, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures. Act as the management representative for ISO 14001 compliance. Maintain and implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) across the business. Report on EMS performance and provide improvement recommendations to the Plant Manager and senior management team. REQUIREMENTS Proven Health, Safety and Environmental experience Senior level experience Experience within the manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of ISO14001 NEBOSH Qualified Only UK experience can be considered due to the nature of the industry.
