Providing expert advice and support to staff at all levels of the business Interpretation of relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance etc and relaying these in an appropriate manner to relevant staff. Ensuring that all policies and practices are regularly reviewed and updated as required. Supporting operational teams with the production of risk assessments and safe systems of work Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements are implemented Undertaking of occupational exposure monitoring, assisting external providers as required. Provide advice on risk management and health surveillance Assist with the development and undertaking of HSE Audits and Assessment Plans Proactively identifying key-areas of non-compliance and improvement and take action alongside site management for improvement Develop and deliver HSE training and identify suitable external providers as required Take the lead on coordinating and facilitating safety committee meetings Accurate production and reporting of metrics Deputise for QHSE Manager as and when required.
