The Health & Safety Team are dedicated to ensuring all aspects of the customers in-resort holiday experience have been fully assessed to meet or exceed the high standard of safety and security expected in today’s travel industry. We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Executive to support our Health and Safety Officer in maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance across all operations. We believe in being a truly customer and colleague centric business. We expect our teams to really understand our holidays, so you’ll get the chance to visit some of our wonderful destinations. These trips are hard work, but you’ll see some amazing things and enjoy unique experiences. Our office in Wallington, Surrey is focused, and results-driven, but lots of fun, full of like-minded people who are all in the business of creating these amazing experiences. Role profile

As a Health & Safety Executive within our Health & Safety / Product team, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the Health & Safety officer in the implementation and management of the company’s health and safety policies and procedures. This role will involve compiling, requesting and processing accommodation and activity risk assessments, monitoring and responding to health & safety communications, accurately maintaining the health & safety logs and files, assisting with safety awareness training, and helping to ensure that the business and staff adheres to Newmarket Holidays Safety Management System. Who we are looking for

A background in travel and tourism, hospitality, or related fields is preferable Prior experience in a health and safety role is desirable, although training will be provided Demonstrates passion and approaches all tasks in an enthusiastic way Self-motivated and self-aware - recognizes own development needs and is committed to personal growth Effective communication skills - written and verbal Computer literate - at least basic operation of MS Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams What we can offer you
