SEGULA Technologies serves clients in the renewable energy (hydro, wind, and solar), fossil fuel, nuclear, and thermal power sectors. We focus on design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, decommissioning, and dismantling, also covering logistics and documentation. Types of activities to be carried out as part of the service (non-exhaustive): Producing updates to Hazard Verification Studies, through the application of relevant technical methodologies, relating to Internal and External Hazards for buildings. Produce simplified design calculation hypotheses and define the various possible scenarios for each internal or external threat situation. Identify the equipment under threat and the way in which the equipment would be affected. Produce studies on the functional redundancies impacted. Manage technical topics relating to the protection requirements for the hazards within the building and system design. Support matrix organisation through the design and construction phase with technical requests and design changes by providing technical expertise on the implementation of the safety functional requirements within the design. Participate in Companywide discipline meetings relating to hazards. Minimum Requirements: Engineer qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably specializing in safety. Knowledge of safety requirement implementation and hazard studies (preferably from a highly regulated industry). Knowledge of Nuclear Safety Assessment Principles and experience of their application. Experience in the area of systems, layout engineering, and pipework. Knowledge and the ability to navigate PDMS and Navisworks software. English speaker; French is advantageous. Expected approach to be conscientious, enthusiastic about the subject with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Perm or initial 12m+ FTC with likelihood of extension plus Segula benefits package. Salary depending on experience.
