Health & Safety Lead An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Lead to join our Property Services team. As the Health & Safety Lead, you will support officers within the property services team to ensure we meet all statutory duties relating to construction health & safety, you will promote a positive safety culture, and lead initiatives that safeguard the health and safety of all employees, contractors, tenants and site visitors. This role is critical to the success of our construction activity and involves working closely with project managers, technical surveyors, and contractors to implement safety procedures at all stages of construction. You will have proven experience of managing construction health & safety across large property portfolios, with expert knowledge of the Construction, Design & Management Regulations. In this varied and fast-paced role, you will: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety plans in line with company policies and industry regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with all local and national health and safety regulations (e.g., CDM, COSHH, and PPE requirements). Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazardous occurrences, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions. Train and mentor staff on health and safety procedures and ensure all personnel are appropriately trained. Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into project timelines. Maintain accurate health and safety records, including audits, training logs, and accident reports. Liaise with regulatory authorities and act as the point of contact for external health and safety activity. This role requires substantial experience in construction related health and safety.
