We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Main Contractor supporting across key projects in Derbyshire. This position would suit a candidate with a strong construction background who is looking to join a business they can develop and grow with. There would be an expectation that you may need to travel to further projects when required.
The role:
Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and deliver the health & safety strategy. Build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation monitoring and reviewing health & safety trends within the division to identify areas of improvement. Develop and improve Health & Safety culture across the organisation. Liaise with site teams and build strong relationships. Managing 3rd party building strong relationships. Support on incident and accident investigation when required and lessons learnt.
The candidate:
5 years + experience working in Health & Safety. Previous experience working in a managerial position and have been responsible for development and growth would be beneficial. Experience in the construction industry.
