Key Responsibilities: Leading the site H&S and Environmental agenda, ensuring the full deployment of the HSE strategy, systems and processes to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, BRC, FSC, and ISO 14001. Coordinating activities required on site to meet Company, site, and regulatory HSE standards. Ensuring compliance with specific external and internal standards. Managing and improving procedures and documents in line with relevant management standards. Maintaining ongoing compliance with environmental permits and relevant legislation. Controlling and maintaining an effective hazard identification and risk assessment programme. Assisting managers with the identification and development of practical safe working practices. Carrying out assessments such as COSHH, DSE, and other assessments. Providing and communicating accurate HSE data to the wider management team. Implementing and ensuring adherence to the site auditing schedule. Developing, executing, and improving HSE processes with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Developing and implementing HSE training to support the needs of the business. Executing team briefs and maintaining HSE performance data. Ensuring the management systems and the site are always 'Audit Ready'. The Ideal Person: Experience working within a similar role. NEBOSH Diploma or General Certificate. Ability to build a positive HSE culture. Strong decision-making, organisational, and time management skills.
