Health & Safety Manager £45,000.00 - £55,000 (DOE) + Performance related bonus We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate, reporting to our Factory Manager, will join our FMCG production/manufacturing team. With a passion for continuous improvement and improving cross-department ways of working, the Health & Safety Manager will have a strong focus on aligning approach and processes as well as ensuring compliance with legislation, reporting, and adopted standards. Key Responsibilities

Be accountable for ensuring the site’s health & safety management systems are up to date and compliant with health & safety legislation. Act as a source of information and advice to maintain site statutory compliance. Assist with the management of site health & safety projects, training, and risk assessments, working with departmental teams to ensure all are kept up to date and accessible. Ensure all health & safety related issues above manager level are reported to the site Factory Manager and Operations Director as applicable. Promote health & safety standards and behaviours by leading by example, coaching others, and challenging unsafe practices and behaviours. Lead on ensuring the site OHSMS ISO 45001 certification is maintained. Provide support to department managers in relation to control of chemicals and CoSHH assessment. Support the Senior Leadership Team in creating an engaging and proactive safety culture. Must lead by example in embracing the two principles; to offer only the finest products and continuously challenge the status quo. Skills & Experience Required

Hold NEBOSH General Certificate – pre 2018 specification. First Aid Trained. Level 2 Food Safety. Fire Marshall Trained. Experience of conducting internal audits. Experience working in a Health & Safety role within food manufacturing. Construction Design Management (CDM) Awareness and Responsibility Training. Benefits
