Health & Safety Advisor - Peterborough (Home-Based) Francesca's Recruitment Ltd is urgently seeking a Health & Safety Consultant / Manager for a Health, Safety and Quality Management Consultancy based in Peterborough. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to support clients across the UK in sectors such as engineering, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and service industries. Location:
Peterborough (home-based), with required travel and occasional overnight stays (project work will earn a financial bonus). Salary & Benefits: Salary: £35,000 - £46,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. A personalised development plan and clear career progression. Carry out risk assessments and COSHH assessments. Advise on safe operational procedures. Assist clients in the investigation of accidents and incidents. Develop and deliver safety briefings. Maintain client relationships and develop new business opportunities. Implement and oversee fire safety measures and compliance. Requirements: NEBOSH General Certificate is essential. Proactive and flexible approach to working with new and existing clients. Solid working knowledge of MS Office. Previous HSQ experience in healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, or civil engineering roles. Experience with managing staff. Full UK Driving Licence with vehicle is essential. Willingness to learn, develop, and work independently. Ability to communicate competent advice effectively at all levels. Strong understanding of practical aspects of client operations, balancing operational efficiency and legislative compliance. Fire Safety experience is desirable.
