Managers position, or, for someone who has experience in Health & Safety – Facilities Management, looking for their next step in their H&S career. Your primary focus will be to develop, implement and maintain agreed QHSE standards, working as part of a team and engaging with staff across all levels in the business. You will be responsible for educating and encouraging employees to abide by and understand Health and Safety standards and procedures. HEALTH & SAFETY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain

quality, safety and environmental systems , implement, audit and update all associated documentation to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Identify and implement initiatives to improve systems including all procedures and processes. Carry out and offer support / advice on Risk assessments, method statements &

COSHH Monitor, audit and report on QHSE performance and provide feedback and advice to the Senior Leadership Team Develop, maintain and improve the business integrated Management system to underpin QHSE and operating standards Maintain a risk register, reviewing QHSE risks and escalating where appropriate Maintain a legal register to ensure compliance and relevant legislation and regulations Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems; implement, audit and update all associated documentation to achieve compliance with

ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE standards Hold meetings and training sessions with staff to ensure that heath and safety standards are adhered to at all times Implement and monitor emergency management plans across all sites and ensure robust line of escalation exists KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a QHSE or Health & Safety position, ideally in a standalone capacity Relevant / recognised Health & Safety / Environmental qualification (Diploma level or equivalent) along with experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 18001. NEBOSH

Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety qualification preferred to level 3 NVQ level 4/5 Occupational Safety and Health Practice. IMEA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) preferred Experience in audit, specifically Achilles and RISQS accreditations Excellent communication skills with a persuasive nature – you will need to demonstrate confidence to interact with people at all levels. Ability to work under pressure, with a self-motivated approach to your work schedule Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet Confidence to build and maintain strong work relationships with colleagues and senior management
