Our client, a leading Engineering company, is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join their team. This is a permanent role based in Bishopstoke, UK. As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and reviewing training needs, coordinating training activities, and ensuring a safe environment for production. Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments and review existing ones. Assist in developing safe systems of work for new and existing processes. Complete workplace audits and implement corrective actions. Produce and deliver presentations on HSE issues. Provide support during internal and external audits. Deliver workplace inductions for visitors, contractors, and new starters. Assist in the development and delivery of Behavioural Safety initiatives. Assist in site environmental management. Training: Organize statutory HSE training programs. Maintain area skills matrix for all departments. Update training files and produce new documents as required. Monitor training progression and provide updates to the management team. What we expect from you: Solid experience conducting risk assessments, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Audit experience is advantageous. IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum (NEBOSH General Certificate would be advantageous). Sound understanding of COSHH and GHS. Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision. Practical approach and willingness to learn and develop.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational ability, and the ability to work closely with the Site Management team to meet all goals concerning HSE.
