Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Teacher of Health & Social Care
to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate must be able to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of qualifications and levels. Key Responsibilities:
Teach
BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3)
and
A-Level Psychology (AQA) . Potential to teach
BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care (Level 1/2)
and
GCSE Psychology . Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing support and intervention where necessary. Contribute to curriculum development and ensure lessons align with exam board specifications. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
or equivalent. Proven experience teaching BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA). Additional experience in delivering BTEC Tech Award (Level 1/2) and GCSE Psychology is desirable. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. This role is
