The Health & Wellbeing Advisor is a brand new role at TRP which will sit within the People Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in developing TRP’s wellbeing strategy whilst supporting employees' health and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Be the wellbeing point of contact for TRP’s employees and stakeholders engaged with our own productions and co-productions. Ensure that health and wellbeing services are consistently promoted and delivered across TRP and its productions. Develop and contribute to TRP’s strategy for health and well-being that is aligned to the business plan for the organisation. Plan for and facilitate the active promotion of health and wellbeing related policies and procedures. Develop and maintain effective partnership working with local health and wellbeing services, early help/intervention teams and other community partners to ensure timely and effective support, signposting, referrals, and intervention that lead to successful outcomes for employees. Provide advice and support regarding the wellbeing needs of staff, ensuring staff who are absent from work due to mental health related conditions receive appropriate and tailored support and communications. Create a yearly activity plan aligned with available budget and resources in order to raise awareness of related issues and equip employees with strategies to keep themselves physically and emotionally well in everyday life. Undertake regular professional development to ensure health and wellbeing practices are relevant and TRP is equipped to address employees' needs and any new emerging themes/initiatives. Assess the health and wellbeing training needs at TRP and develop a yearly training plan, subject to regular reviews. Manage and secure appropriate budget to support wellbeing initiatives and activities. Develop and maintain an awareness of external funding, training and other resources that might be available to support delivery of TRP initiatives and, with the agreement of the Deputy Head of People, submit applications/bids for such funding/resources as appropriate. Manage, coordinate and support wellbeing groups, for example mental health first aiders and wellbeing champions in line with agreed wellbeing strategies and policies. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion within their role and their wellbeing practices ensuring wellbeing activities and initiatives are accessible for all. Regularly review data relating to health and wellbeing to inform activity and or make recommendations to the Deputy Head of People. A flexible approach to working hours which could include evenings and weekends. Work collaboratively with the Risk Manager to create a safe, healthy, and supportive working environment. Participate and form part of the Health and Safety committee.
