We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and positive
Health Care Assistant (HCA) . To join our team, you should have significant experience working as a
Health Care Assistant (HCA)
within a GP practice either in the NHS or private sector. The role will include assisting with assessments and promotion of health and well-being, supporting patients to adopt health strategies. Monitoring of chronic conditions, health promotion, and screening activities are the core of the role. Provide health care services such as phlebotomy, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring to a high level of competence. In due course, you will be assisting practitioners in minor surgery and coil fitting clinics. Strong organization and communication abilities are a must. The role will also require supporting the nursing team and Clinical Administrator with flexibility, including extra hours/days to cover for holidays, sickness, or training. You must be willing to commute to other sites. Hours:
Flexible starting at 30 hours across 4 days with potential for full-time. Longer term, some evening and weekend work may be required.
