The Facilities Department is looking to recruit a number of hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and dynamic Cleanliness Service Team at Clatterbridge Hospital. The role of Healthcare Cleaning Professional is to support the smooth day-to-day operational running of our hospital through achieving excellent cleaning standards that will provide a clean and safe healthcare environment that meets our patients' expectations. Hours are available: Monday-Friday 4.00pm - 7.00pm (15 hours) Monday-Friday 5.00pm - 8.00pm (15 hours) Monday-Friday 4.00pm - 8.00pm (20 hours) Saturday & Sunday 3.00pm - 7.00pm (8 hours) General baseline cleaning duties of the hospital environment will include: Mopping Vacuuming Damp dusting Cleaning of toilets and bathrooms Serving beverages to patients Additional specialised cleaning duties, including infection prevention and control cleaning, will be required as directed. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload and work in all areas of the hospital as instructed. Have customer service skills; be friendly, approachable, reliable, and possess good time management. Have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment. Demonstrate the core capabilities and behaviours of the role. Be passionate about delivering a high-quality service. Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to provide the knowledge and skills to be a competent Healthcare Cleaning Professional. Uniform will be provided. An exciting opportunity has been developed for Healthcare Cleaning Professional staff to progress within the Trust through an 18-month CSW Apprenticeship.
