Main Duties of the Job In this exciting role, you will: Fully integrate into the Multidisciplinary Team:

Have the opportunity to attend ward rounds and work with the HCOOP/Frailty lead to shape the service. Provide training and teaching:

Train FY1 and FY2 doctors, become an educational supervisor for trainee pharmacists, and supervise foundation pharmacists. Engage in service level activities:

Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our services. Line management and practice supervision:

Take on responsibilities in managing foundation pharmacists and acting as a practice supervisor, educational supervisor, enhancing your leadership skills. Pursue further education:

Undertake the Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) course to expand your qualifications. What we offer:

Qualifications

4-year Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist Completion of Foundation Stage 1 of the Postgraduate Diploma in General Practice Pharmacy (or equivalent) Postgraduate Diploma in General Practice Pharmacy i.e. completion of both Foundation Stage 1 and 2 (or equivalent) Training and accreditation as a Practice Supervisor and Educational Supervisor Skills

Demonstrates ‘usually’ or ‘consistently’ levels of competence for the majority of General/Foundation Level Framework Demonstrates excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills Demonstrates working effectively within the multidisciplinary team Able to analyse information and plan actions based on this information Demonstrates reflective approach to self-development Demonstrates service improvement Demonstrates teaching and presentation skills Undertaken audits and shown implementation of results Experience

Significant experience in hospital post registration showing clinical experience within various environments/specialties (or the equivalent) Experience in care of the elderly and/or acute frailty Knowledge

Knowledge of core pharmaceutical needs of patients in various clinical settings Understanding of patient safety issues relevant to pharmacy services Knowledge of core pharmaceutical needs of patients in a care of the elderly setting Other
