Minehead Hospital boasts state of the art facilities in a fabulous rural location. We are situated on the coast in beautiful West Somerset, we offer excellent staff facilities including staff dining room with a south facing balcony, large free staff car park and modern changing facilities.
The ward has 19 inpatient beds set out as single rooms and two four bed bays. Each room has an on suite and overhead hoist system. All modern facilities. We have a specially designed room for end of life care. We offer rehabilitation and subacute medical intervention.
Main duties of the job
Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided. There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.
