We are now recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) to become part of our wider health care team, which provides high standards of care to our patients. This advert is for positions across our surgery and critical care division, including: Trauma and orthopaedic Theatres Ophthalmology You will attend a robust clinical induction program and a comprehensive practical based program to gain the skills and knowledge to provide quality care to our patients. We will provide you with the tools to gain your care certificate if you have not already completed it. The post is advertised as a band 3 role subject to the following: Successfully completing the care certification within the six-month probationary period of employment, during which you will be paid Band 2 or Providing a copy of your completed care certificate which has been reviewed during the recruitment process and determined as meeting the accepted standard Upon successful completion (or accepted evidence) of the Care Certification and completion of the probationary period of employment, you will be promoted to NHS AFC Band 3. Failure to complete the Care Certification within this timeframe may result in termination of employment. Person specification
