Tasks
Working directly in customers’ homes, you will be an intrinsic member of our heat pump installations teams and work closely with our senior installers to finalize and certify your installations. No prior experience with heat pumps is necessary, but as an experienced plumber or heating engineer, you already have the hard skills needed on the job and will work under the expert guidance of our Founding Engineer to learn everything there is to know about air source heat pumps (ASHP). This role also includes a pathway from installer to crew leader, all the way up to being a fully qualified heat pump installation team lead, where you will lead your own teams of installers in your local area. Requirements
Responsibilities: Skillfully install heat pumps in residential properties Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service Collaborate with our senior technicians to sign off and commission your installations Your profile: Required NVQ level 2 or 3 in Plumbing Experience installing pipework (solder & press) for unvented cylinders and radiators Experience decommissioning heating systems Experience fitting radiators Valid driver's license with 6 points or less Passion for positive environmental impact and a genuine interest to develop in a trade, building a career and providing excellent customer service Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the role, i.e. able to bend, stretch, kneel and crouch, as well as be comfortable working at height and in confined spaces - you’ll also be expected to carry heavy items such as radiators, boilers and other work related equipment Desirable G3 Unvented WRAS Water Regulations Experience fitting heat pumps Benefits
