Heating Engineer required. Our client has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts, and private sector clients for over 40 years. They are now looking for a Heating Engineer to join the team due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will carry out servicing and remedial repairs to gas-fired heating boilers within occupied and unoccupied properties. This will be over the NW10, NW9, NW6, NW2, W9, W10, HA3, SW, HA9, NW3, and NW1 postcodes.
Heating Engineer Job Overview
Detailed knowledge and experience of main boiler manufacturer installation and servicing requirements and instructions. Carry out full commissioning of gas heating boilers and associated controls on completion of installation or servicing works. Demonstrate and have good fault finding/diagnostic skills and carry out necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts. Draining down and re-filling of heating systems to remove and replace defective/leaking radiators or associated isolation valves. Ensure that all work complies with the relevant sections of the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' (risk assessment, asbestos awareness, etc.). Take part in 'out-of-hours' emergency call out on a rota basis.
Heating Engineer Job Requirements
Previous experience as a Heating Engineer in the same industry. Valid CSCS card. Experience of boiler fluing arrangements, encompassing building fabric or materials that may need to be penetrated. Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights. Must hold ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1).

Salary: £37,440- £38,610 (£16- 16.50 an hour) Working hours: 8am- 6pm Holiday package: 21 days + 8BH Life insurance and staff discounts Company van, mobile phone, and uniform. Pension.
