We are looking to recruit ambitious, skilled, and committed doctors to join our HEMS team at Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (Coventry Airport) and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (Nottingham Heliport). Successful applicants will work as part of the doctor-critical care paramedic (+/- pilot) team providing 24/7 pre-hospital critical care on both our air ambulance and rapid response car platforms. TAAS is a registered training site for the West Midlands PHEM Training Programme, and many of our doctors are examiners for the FPHC FIMC examinations or have achieved Level 8 accreditation, enabling us to provide high quality educational and career support. This post will also provide experience in pre-hospital audit and research, service development, clinical governance and multi-disciplinary education. Funded places are available at the IBPTHEM Phase 1a course and a cadaveric surgical skills course for all full-time doctors. Posts last for 12 months duration (starting August 2025 – February 2026) and start dates can be negotiated. Appointment to these posts is the equivalent grade of a Specialist Registrar but does not confer a National Training Number. The post is ideal as an Out of Programme Experience or post-CCT opportunity. Less than full-time working can be accommodated. The full job description can be found

Other employment options will be considered for candidates already working as Consultants in UK HEMS services or with PHEM CCT.
