A well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with offices in Cheltenham and Cirencester is seeking a Heritage and Archaeology Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its team. Specializing in a range of sectors, including heritage and archaeology, the company is known for its collaborative approach, integrating various disciplines to provide comprehensive solutions for clients. With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and quality, the business is a respected name in the industry. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of heritage and archaeology projects while working closely with other sectors within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver projects across the heritage and archaeology sectors, collaborating with different departments within the business. - Manage and execute projects, utilizing strong technical reporting and fieldwork skills. - Build client relationships and identify opportunities to win new work. - Mentor junior team members and take on greater project management responsibilities. Qualifications & Requirements: - Proven experience in a consultancy environment within heritage and archaeology. - Strong technical reporting and fieldwork skills. - Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion. - Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and win new work. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. - Relevant degree in archaeology, heritage management, or a related field. - Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIfA) is desirable.
