HGV Class One Driver - Tramping abnormal load work - Minimum 2 years' experience required - Middlewich Perm OTE: Up to £54,000* Ongoing Agency Rate: £182.50 per day PAYE** European driving experience in left-hand drive vehicles is essential as this will be a left-hand drive truck. Silver Arrow, recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist logistics provider for experienced and skilled drivers to drive low loaders and step frame trailers in the UK and UK to Europe The role involves working at height, manually handling ramps, loading of complex machinery. Your Shift: This is a Monday to Friday tramping position Initially the role will be UK based, however this will lead into European tramping Normally 4 nights out and the occasional weekend away - Allowances and pay rates to cover such occasions. Your Role: Transporting agricultural & plant machinery around the UK and/or Europe using premium trailers and high spec tractor units. Product loading and restraint. Completion of product inspection at collection and delivery. Security checks, customs and border paperwork. A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height. *Daily rate of £135, £26.20 per night out, £5 meal allowance.
