We provide the truck, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. Drivers will generally work from Depot to depot, but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays. Join AK Logistics ltd. as an LGV/HGV Class 1 Driver, and help us ensure freight arrives at the right place at the right time - every time. There’s no loading or unloading required. It’s all about driving safely, providing good customer service, and working positively with other members of the team. Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements) English language skills for safety Shifts per week 45 to 50 hours ~ Holiday and sick pay ~ Parental leave (maternity/paternity) ~ Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit ~ Excellent on-site facilities ~ Driver training ~ Paid for full shift ~ On-site parking ~ Full/Part time
