The HGV Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing any vehicle issues, managing vehicle downtime effectively, and working alongside external service providers. This would be an ideal role for a current Mechanic/Engineer looking to come off the tools, or for an experienced Fleet/Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge. Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing any vehicle issues/repairs required over the phone with drivers. Managing vehicle downtime effectively to ensure profitability and availability within the fleet. Working alongside external service providers for repairs, ensuring vehicles return within SLA to deliver optimal fleet availability. Overseeing and managing vehicle warranties, maintenance, services, and MOTs. Qualifications

Experience working with HGVs and trailers. Good knowledge of vehicle compliance. The ability to diagnose issues and faults over the phone. A desire to learn and progress within the business. A relevant level 3 qualification. Compensation

The successful candidate for the role of HGV Engineer based in Warrington will receive: A salary of £45,000 - £50,000 DOE. A company car. An "off the tools" role. Great progression opportunities.
