HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic

£18.00 - £21.00 per hour (DOE) + Time & A Half Over Time and Employment Package
We are looking for a HGV technician / mechanic / fitter that has the skills and motivation to work with our client to maintain and keep their fleet of 8 wheeled tipper lorries in a safe condition. The role is predominantly yard based. The company is going through a well-planned growth phase and can offer significant opportunities to progress your career. If you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician, we would still like to hear from you.
ROLE:
Carrying out the day-to-day servicing. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to ensure their fleet vehicles are safe, compliant, and repaired to the highest standards. Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant accurately. Competent and confident with the use of diagnostic equipment to fault find.
CANDIDATE: Previous experience as Mechanical Fitter or Technician ideally with an NVQ qualification or equivalent. A drive to grow and develop within the business. A team player that has the ability to also work independently.
