Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Casual work attire Flexible working hours Job Title: Mechanic Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. The Mechanic should have a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose mechanical issues and propose appropriate solutions. Repair or replace faulty components in vehicles. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the garage. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Requirements: Recognised apprenticeship as a BUS Mechanic/PCV/PSV Technician and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. Valid driver's license Willing to put you through IRTEC Training for the right candidate PSV License preferred - willing to put the ideal candidate through the test Job Types:
