Are you an HGV Mechanic or a Mechanical Engineer from the Forces, looking for a role where you'll be responsible for the routine maintenance of a small fleet of vehicles for a company that offers work-life balance, great employee retention and a friendly, close-knit environment?
This wholesaler started off supplying perishable goods to ships over 200 years ago and has since then expanded in all directions supplying hotels, pubs, cafés, retailers, schools and hospitals. Continuing their success, they're looking for an additional HGV Mechanic to support their fleet of 8 vehicles.
On offer is the opportunity to join a close team of engineers and work as a team maintaining a fleet of DAF HGV's and Ford LGV's in a clean workshop and increase your earnings through optional breakdown cover. They also pay for employees to gain a HGV driving license as well as other manufacturer training and qualifications.
This role would suit an HGV Mechanic looking for good work/life balance in a secure role for a company with a rich and deep history that continues to grow.
The Role
Vehicle inspection & diagnostics of light and heavy vehicles
Optional paid call out rota
Specialist training and in-house shadowing with expert mechanics
Occasional travel to breakdowns
Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
