My client is seeking an HGV Mechanic to maintain and service a specialist fleet of military tank transporters based in Bulford Barracks, Salisbury. This unique opportunity requires the successful applicant to become a Sponsored Reservist, with all details provided upon inquiry. Applicant Requirements: Previous experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic is essential. Holder of an appropriate BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3 qualification. Desirable to have a HGV C+E licence; training will be provided if needed. Willingness to become a Sponsored Reservist, meeting specific criteria related to physical fitness and medical history. Previous service in the Armed Forces, such as the Army, Royal Air Force, or Royal Navy, is highly desirable. Must be willing to travel. Benefits: Salary: £46,947 with an OTE of £60,500. Additional holiday entitlement. Regular, guaranteed monthly income. 28 days paid holiday, increasing with service. Stakeholder Pension Scheme with Employer contributions. Great working environment.
