Our client is a very well established commercial rental company based in Manchester with other sites located in the UK. They are currently looking to add an experienced HGV Technician to their ever-growing team. If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge, please get in touch! The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds however time served of 3 years+ will be considered. Benefits the HGV Technician will receive: A basic salary of up to £48,152.00OTE- £60,000.00 with annual pay rises. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Regular overtime offered at time and a half. Training and professional development opportunities, paid for by the company.Responsibilities of the successful HGV Technician: Carry out routine inspections and services.Testing Vehicles in a professional and safe manner. Investigate and diagnose faults and report findings. Carrying out repairs to the current manufacturers standards. Requirements of the HGV Technician:Qualified to NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 in HGV Mechanics or time served of 3 years + within the industry. Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics, and experience of working on tippers or beaver tails would be advantageous. A full UK Driving LicensePrevious experience in a similar environment is essential.
