Class 1 personnel are working with a client to recruit an HGV2 Hiab Driver at their sites in North London. Our client has established themselves as the market-leading business in their sector, and their success is based on giving the very best customer service and outstanding quality. This vacancy is to join a dynamic, friendly team driving HGV2 Hiab, delivering across Home Counties and London areas. This is an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth within the company.

DUTIES for the HGV2 HiAb Delivering and collecting materials with the assistance of a crane. Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard. Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's. Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover. Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company's legislative and commercial obligations are met. Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.

Essential criteria for HGV2 HiAb Crane/Hiab Licence/Knowledge. Full driver's valid CPC and Tacho. Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines. You should possess well-developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to delivering consistent quality. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills. You will need to have the following: a valid HGV2 licence, valid Hiab certificate, CPC, and Tacho card. It is desirable to have FORS training, ALLMI accreditation, and HiAb D4 and D5. We are happy to consider newly qualified Hiab Drivers as further development is offered with the role. Working hours will be 44 hours covering Monday to Friday, with Saturday on a biweekly rota of 1 on, 1 off. We can offer a salary up to £33k depending on experience, plus a £2.4k bonus.
