Due to continued expansion, LMD Vacuum Excavation Group is looking for full-time Workshop-based HGV and Plant Fitters to join our team.
LMD Vacuum Excavation Group has one of the largest fleets of vacuum excavators in the UK, along with being the UK and Ireland Distributor for Rivard Earthmoving and Sewage equipment.
As the Workshop-based HGV/Plant Fitter, you will be a key member of the team maintaining our fleet of 40+ commercial vehicles and carrying out MOT preparation works. LMD's chassis of choice is Mercedes Benz, but the fleet also contains MAN, Volvo, and DAF.
You will have a City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in vehicle maintenance or mechanical engineering. A variety of experience in maintaining commercial vehicles, construction plant, and vacuum tankers would be highly desirable.
LMD is growing. We have a dynamic team in place, and you will play a critical role in maximizing the availability of our fleet through effective maintenance, repair, and MOT preparation, along with supporting the team in preparing new vehicles for delivery. There is considerable scope for further progression within the company as we continue to grow.
