Job Summary:
The assistant is responsible for all phases of meal preparation and planning. The job requires supervision of all dietary personnel when the director is not present. The assistant cook must maintain a clean and aesthetic environment in the kitchen and dining room. This role involves direct interaction with residents, staff, and volunteers.
The assistant will prepare Meals on Wheels and collaborate with volunteers for meal delivery. The assistant will observe proper sanitation and safety procedures at Historic Homes of Runnemede. After all three meals, the cook will ensure that the kitchen and dining room are left clean and orderly. The job also requires direct interaction with residents while serving meals and cleaning up the dining room, with the assistance of other staff.
