Job summary The Isle of Wight Talking Therapies Service are seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals qualified in any recognised Talking Therapies Modality, such as CBT, EMDR, IPT, or PCE-CFD. This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave for 1 year, with opportunities to work in a hybrid way or remotely from home. The post holder will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies (TT) service and will provide high intensity therapy as approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The post holder will work with patients who have a range of mild to moderate anxiety and depression, and severe common mental health problems for which high intensity psychological interventions are clinically effective. They will work with people from different cultural backgrounds, disabilities, and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Talking Therapies model of delivery. Main duties of the job Deliver evidence-based therapy in primary care to clients with a range of mild to moderate, and severe common mental health problems. Deliver evidence-based interventions via differing modalities such as group settings, face-to-face, and e-clinics. Participate in caseload management on a monthly basis. Participate in clinical supervision on a weekly basis. Adhere to an activity contract agreed with the service manager at appraisal. Maintain continued professional development for professional accreditation and keep a log of all related CPD. Act as a skilled practitioner who will be a resource for the team and a source of clinical excellence and advice.
