Job summary

The Isle of Wight Talking Therapies Service are seeking an application from enthusiastic and motivated individuals qualified in any recognised Talking Therapies Modality, such as CBT, EMDR, IPT or PCE-CFD. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave for 1 year, with opportunities to work in a hybrid way or remotely from home. The post holder will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies (TT) service and will provide high intensity therapy as approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The post holder will work with patients who have a range of mild to moderate anxiety and depression, and severe common mental health problems for which high intensity psychological interventions are clinically effective. They will work with people from different cultural backgrounds, disabilities, and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Talking Therapies model of delivery. Main duties, tasks & skills required

Deliver evidence-based therapy in primary care to clients with mild to moderate and severe common mental health problems. Deliver evidence-based interventions via differing modalities such as group settings, face to face, and e-clinics. Participate in caseload management on a monthly basis. Participate in clinical supervision on a weekly basis. Adhere to an activity contract agreed with the service manager at appraisal. Maintain continued professional development for professional accreditation and keep a log of all related CPD. Be seen as a skilled practitioner who will be a resource for the team and a source of clinical excellence and advice. About us

Qualifications

Essential

Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Post Graduate Diploma course in CBT OR Qualified in IPT and reflects the IPT competency framework OR Qualification in EMDR and reflects the EMDR competency framework OR Qualification in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression AND Accreditation from relevant body and recommended record of yearly Continuing Professional Development Desirable

Qualification in more than 1 therapy, e.g., CBT and EMDR, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or PCE-CFD. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
