32.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, term time plus one week Permanent position required as soon as possible. Woodlands Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint a HLTA to start asap. We are looking for an experienced, organised, capable, intuitive, and enthusiastic HLTA to work as a valuable part of our school team providing PPA cover and curriculum support across school. The successful candidate will: Have sound literacy and numeracy skills. Hold the relevant HLTA qualification and have experience either in Early Years & Foundation Stage / Key Stage 1 or 2. Have knowledge of Read Write Inc. or other phonic programmes. Be creative and committed to making learning interesting and fun! Inspire trust, instil confidence, and embrace challenges, in order to raise pupil attainment. Be able to work as part of a successful, hardworking, dedicated team. Have had experience of shared planning and assessment to enable the interpretation of data to support target setting and pupil tracking. Have a good sense of humour. Be flexible and able to adapt to a change in circumstances without prior notice. Show an understanding of a restorative behaviour approach.
