As the High Temperature Hot Water Technician, you will monitor HTHW plant and associated equipment including testing of safety equipment. What you will do:

Ability to shut down and make safe any failed equipment with the potential to jeopardise safety and call out any relevant engineers to maintain HTHW production. Assist the HTHW supervisor with planned, reactive or project tasks whilst ensuring they conform to the site procedures and agreed safety documentation. Monitor, maintain, investigate and acknowledge the site BMS system. Undertake regular plant checks to note and report any defects and to ensure all HTHW plant rooms are kept clean, tidy and in a safe condition. Identify and report defects to the HTHW supervisor. Provide rapid and effective response to the customer and Helpdesk. Ensure compliance and escalate any issues to the availability, health and safety and security to the site. Adhere to all current site and EMCOR UK company and critical engineering management policies. What you will need:

Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in HTHW would be an advantage. BOAS 9.2. BG02 guidance on safe operation of hot water boilers. INDG436 safe management of industrial steam and hot water boilers. PSSR regs 2000 L122 ACOP. Experience with BMS systems. At EMCOR UK, we embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms.
