Learning Support and Academic Skills Adviser (Higher education) Salary: Up to £28,380 (depending on qualifications and experience) Our Higher Education offer is expanding, and we are seeking a new team member to join us at this exciting time. In this role, you will have responsibility for the design and delivery of high-quality academic skills support for students from pre-entry to taught postgraduate across the University Centre to enhance their satisfaction, attainment, and retention. The post holder will lead projects and developments in relation to academic skills and student engagement activities. The post holder will have responsibility for preparing learning materials in multiple formats, including classroom, online, and mobile to both groups and on a one-to-one basis. The post holder will liaise with professional and academic services across the University to ensure appropriate learner support activities are in place for all students. There will be a requirement for the post holder to recognize and support students with disabilities so that they can access their learning. As such, the role will require the post holder to work with students’ academic staff and other professionals within the organization to develop inclusive methods of delivery and assessment. All staff will engage in CPD and scholarly activity, and there are opportunities for personal development appropriate to the role. This post will be based at the Sparsholt Campus.
