Colchester . This part-time position is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in developing essential social communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Intervention Delivery:
Lead and deliver social communication interventions for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop essential social skills.
Student Support:
Provide targeted support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, preparing and delivering 1:1 or group interventions to provide coping strategies and learning within school.
Assessment and Planning:
Assist in assessing students' needs and contribute to the planning and preparation of differentiated learning activities tailored to individual requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with teachers, the SENCo Department, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Parental Engagement:
Communicate effectively with parents, building strong relationships to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

Experience:

Knowledge:
Familiarity with the secondary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies, particularly in social communication.
