(Westoe Crown Primary School) £27,711 pa pro rata Numbers on roll: 589 (+ 52 Nursery) Permanent Required as soon as possible Work Pattern: Thursday and Friday - 8:30am to 4.30pm An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide outstanding PPA and absence cover across school. You must have a flexible and adaptable approach and will be expected to lead after school clubs and provide intervention support to identified children, where appropriate. We are looking for a talented, hardworking and enthusiastic HLTA to join our friendly and supportive team here at Westoe Crown. The ideal candidate will: Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline; Have HLTA status; Possess substantial relevant experience; Be flexible and work well as part of a team. South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
