Highly specialised echocardiographer Xyla (part of Acacium Group) Field based with frequent travel across South West England Permanent, part time or full time hours available £50,000-£55,000 per annum + £3,000 car allowance + 5% annual bonus

Unlock your potential We have an exciting job opportunity for a highly specialised echocardiographer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of the national echocardiography team, working closely with patients by managing a portfolio of contracts across the UK, providing specialist, high-quality echocardiography services. You will be at the forefront of our clinical service provision, and locations will be agreed with you prior to your clinics being planned. You will play a key part in working collaboratively with our customers and our operations team to ensure that service needs are met and that patients are put at the heart of everything we do. Working with over 80 NHS trusts, our clinical care team delivers a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community, or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute, and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met. Every day you will... Carry out TTE investigations unsupervised, seeking advice from senior members of the clinical care team or the local customer when appropriate. Demonstrate proficiency and skill in echocardiographic techniques. Take a proactive approach to minimising clinical risk to patients undergoing echo studies, and support Xyla and our customers in the investigation and management of any related clinical incidents. Maintain all equipment, systems, and facilities used to the necessary high standards as required. Be familiar, competent, and confident on patient administration systems, reporting systems, modalities, and PACS systems. What's in it for you?
