The post holder will become part of the expanding Early Intervention in Psychosis service. The Early Intervention team works with clients who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis and those deemed to be at risk of developing psychosis. The post holder will be based within the community team, working alongside care coordinators, psychiatrists, and CBT therapists.
The role of the clinical psychologist will be to provide assessment, formulation, and intervention to clients with first episode psychosis and co-morbid difficulties. The clinical psychologist will also provide supervision, consultation, and training for team members. It would be advantageous to have training in CBT for psychosis and/or Family Intervention.
