We have an exciting opportunity to join Angus Physiotherapy Service as part of the community rehabilitation team and working directly within the respiratory nursing team within Angus. The successful candidate will be based within Arbroath Infirmary but with a requirement to work across Angus and will have a specific remit to deliver the pulmonary rehabilitation service jointly with our nursing colleagues. Angus Pulmonary Rehabilitation was established in 2004. The program is delivered across Angus and completion rates are above the national average whilst objective outcomes consistently show significant improvements. The team is passionate about ensuring we provide, maintain and continue to develop a high-quality service whilst working closely with the multidisciplinary team and patient support groups. This role will also require a commitment to promoting and developing the role of physiotherapy within the community as well as supporting staff to deliver high quality evidence-based rehabilitation. The team enjoy a close working relationship with other members of the MDT and are actively involved across the locality. You will be co-located with respiratory nursing colleagues and work closely with the wider physiotherapy and AHP Support Workers. Angus Physiotherapy Service is a forward thinking, dynamic and progressive service. Our clinicians are supported in developing the skills required to deliver quality care to our patients and are fully involved in service development. An active in-service training programme is in place both with the local base and the Angus Physiotherapy Service. Personal and Professional Development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system. You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Hours of work are: 37 hours (part time hours will be considered).
