Being one of the UK's largest NHS Trusts has its challenges. And our 8,000-strong team expertly and wholeheartedly rise to each one. As a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist, you'll add your therapy skills to this proud heritage as you help to deliver world-class healthcare across North West London. This is your chance to thrive as you rotate across Hyper-Acute Stroke, Acute stroke rehab and Acute neuro medical and trauma rehab. We're looking for an HCPC-registered Band 7 physiotherapist who has experience gained in community outpatient, acute and rehab in-patient services. In this key role in our teaching Trust, you'll also need experience of supervising others in their day-to-day role. As you'll get the chance to rotate, we'd expect to see evidence of the clinical application of core therapy and reasoning skills - as well as some knowledge of wide-ranging assessments and interventions for patients with varied neurological conditions. Job responsibilities

Summary of the role As an autonomous practitioner, you will assess and treat your own caseload and provide a highly specialist neurology physiotherapy service to patients. To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), assessing and treating patients with highly complex neurological disabilities and maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records. To contribute to the management of all aspects of the Neurology Physiotherapy Service, including prioritising and organising all referrals to the neurology service and allocation of patients. To be responsible for the development and appraisal of team members, including Band 6, 5, 4, 2 and students. To regularly provide formal and informal, ongoing training and education to physiotherapy staff, other healthcare professionals, and students. To engage in your continued professional development (CPD) and service development. To take a lead on clinical audit within the team and undertake research.
