We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, dynamic individuals to join our Team at Manchester Foundation Trust who will rotate between sites to provide Cardiac Diagnostic Services both in a large tertiary centre, District General and the community setting. The department offers a full spectrum of Invasive and Non-Invasive cardiac diagnostic investigations and is committed to developing staff and actively developing new roles for service provision. Independently practices with a high level of skill and autonomy at Advance Specialist level in cardiac rhythm management. Independently practices with a high level of skill and autonomy a wide range of other cardiac physiology procedures. Provides effective day-to-day leadership of the cardiac physiology team within the advanced specialist field and other areas when required. Actively participates in practical & theoretical training & development of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals from inside and outside of the organisation. Participates in cardiac & associated medical research as integral to the role. To undertake any other duties which are deemed appropriate to the band when requested by Principal Cardiac physiologist. BSc Clinical Physiology/Healthcare Science MSc Clinical Physiology/Healthcare Science or qualifying long service/experience BHRS or IBHRE in Devices or Electrophysiology. Desirable

Teaching qualification (T4T, D32) Voluntary State Registration AHCS or HCPC. Experience

Essential

Practical & formal teaching of Cardiac Physiologists and other HCPs. Multi-disciplinary teamwork. Desirable

Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience at Band 6 level. Participation in cardiac research. Skills

Competent to practise a wide range of cardiac physiology diagnostics and interventions. Organisation of self and others. Leadership skills. Communication at all levels.
